Joan of Arc... progress

So tonight I thought I would set myself the task to sit down and flesh out an old illustration. I chose joan of arc! I spent most of the evening painting the background, which was initially grey scale, once I got an overlay layer down I just painted straight on top of it. Hopefully I can get to finishing joan tomorrow! Also another thumbnail I started for a possible illustration.
